Founded in 1974, SeniorCare Experts is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping seniors remain independent in the comfort of their own home. SCE provides non-medical home care, offering affordable products, services and a professional staff ready to assist you with all your senior-living needs.

SCE Volunteer Orientation

Our monthly volunteer training and orientation session for new SCE volunteers and anyone interested in all that SCE has to offer. The time is 9:30 am at our offices, 145 Thierman Lane, in St. Matthews, next to the Wal-Mart grocery. We will gather for about an hour, bring along a friend, maybe a future volunteer! We'll have light refreshments and meet some staff and SCE volunteers that are on-site that day. Call us at 896-2316 if you have any questions.
Senior Day at St. Matthews Farmers Market at Beargrass Christian Church

SCE will be on display at the St. Matthews Farmers Market at Beargrass Christian Church on Saturday Sept. 6th from 8:00 to noon. Located at 4100 Shelbyville Road, this event has become the largest of its' kind in the area with 70 vendors! SCE staff will be on hand, available to show all that SCE has to offer Seniors, who desire to to be living at home independently. Also we will showcase our world of SCE volunteer opportunities which demonstrate how you can help! Stop by and say "Hi"!
SCE at Max & Erma's

We are going back again for FUNdraising at Max & Erma's, 2901 S. Hurstbourne Parkway, 493-9662 on Tuesday Sept. 16th! 20% of your sales will benefit SeniorCare Experts that day, during restaurant hours. But you must present your SCE ticket to the server to direct this percentage to us. Tickets are available at our office, 145 Thierman Lane, or we can email you one - contact us, sce@srcareexperts.org. Tickets will be also be found in the next issue of Aging Well - to be mailed the first of September. This event has been both popular with our supporters and successful in bringing in funds. SCE Volunteer Orientation

Annual SCE Golf Scramble FUNdraiser

Our Golf Scramble will be held this year on Monday, Sept. 29th at Polo Fields Golf & Country Club. Tee time is 12:30, with a $15,000 Hole-in-One cash prize, a Bob Hook Hole-in-One car, a 50/50 Raffle and a Silent Auction. Our Gold Sponsor is CAREtenders. SCE is celebrating 34 years of senior services with one of the longest running charity golf events in this area!
